Mike has been playing since the 1960′s. That’s right. A veteran of rock, country, and blues bands. Mike sat in Muddy Waters bedroom, had Buddy Guy show him around the blues clubs where FeltenMighty Joe young among others were hanging out. The 1970′s found Mike playing folk gigs at places like the Fifth Peg and Orphans in Chicago, alongside guys like Steve Goodman and John Prine.

Winona State University, in partnership with FORGE, the Women’s and Gender Studies student club, and the Women’s Resource Center of Winona, will host Take Back the Night.Flaming_W_Color The event focuses on eliminating sexual violence in all forms. Thousands of colleges, universities, women’s centers and rape crisis centers have sponsored these events all over the country. Winona State University is taking a stand against sexual violence and is speaking out for a violence-free campus and community.
