Ride In and Show Motorcycle Show @ Winona American Legion

Winona American Legion Riders would like to invite you to share the fun of showing off your bikes and at the same time raise money for the freedom honor flight .

Motorcycle Registration 9-10am -Trophies will be awarded at 2pm - $5 entry fee and $1 per vote

Food & Beverages will be available inside the Legion. Proceeds benefiting the Freedom Honor Flight and other local charities.

National Train Day @ Amtrak Station

The program will be highlighted by a presentation by Winona Mayor Mark Peterson, plus, there will beAmtrak a discussion on Minnesota high speed rail led by Bill Spitzer and a presentation on the historical train depot facilitated by Greg Gout.

Astronomy Night @ Great River Bluffs State Park

Jennifer Anderson, WSU associate professor of geoscience, will present “When Night Becomes Day: Light Pollution in Winona” at 7 p.m. Following herFlaming_W_Color talk, solar scopes and telescopes will be available for viewing the Sun, the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and other deep sky objects. There will be activities for children of all ages and opportunities to learn about and touch meteorites.

Winona Brass Band @ St. Cecilia Theater - Winona Cotter

The Winona Brass Band is a British style brass band made up of 25 brass players and percussion section. Founded in 1993 and is directed by Dr. Dick Lindner. Many of the players are current and former concert band directors from Winona and surrounding communities. We also have college students, high school students, and community members who just love to play.
