Meet other nature-loving families for a relaxed walk as we observe the season\, share fun facts\, and celebrate the quiet wonders of winter. Nora has spotted and heard several owls in the refuge this winter… whooooo will we discover? 🦉 \nSunset is at 4:56pm\, so please bring a headlamp or flashlight. We’ll have a few extras on hand. Optional snowshoes may be available if conditions allow. \nWalks take place within Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge\, with the exact meeting location determined by weather\, trail conditions\, and phenology. \nWeather & Cancellations: These walks happen rain or shine\, so dress for the conditions. In the event of severe weather\, we’ll be in touch if plans need to change.
