Nicky Buck: Land, Plants, and Community

As Indigenous Peoples’ Day nears, join us and our friends at Winona State University (WSU) in welcoming Nicky Buck (Prairie Island Indian Community & the Honoring Dakota Project)! Gather with Nicky at the Indigenous Learning Garden on the WSU campus as she guides us & gives a talk about land, plants, and community. Nicky is Bdewakantunwan Dakota, and her work focuses on plant medicines, food sovereignty, and environmental protection.
