Jina is the undisputed top performer at her call center, effortlessly handling customer concerns with a polished, professional charm. But beyond the scripted conversations and constant ringing of phones, she has built a life of rigid isolation, her world confined to the voices in her headset. Outside of work, she keeps her interactions minimal, her apartment a refuge from the unpredictability of human connection.
That carefully maintained solitude is disrupted when a relentlessly friendly new neighbor insists on breaking through her walls, pushing small talk and favors she never asked for. At the same time, an unexpected call from her estranged father delivers news she can’t ignore, pulling her back into a past she has tried desperately to forget. As both intrusions into her life grow harder to avoid, Jina is forced to confront the pain that has kept her so carefully withdrawn—and decide whether she’s ready to let the world back in.
