The Friends of the Winona Public Library will host their annual meeting on Thursday, April 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the Library’s Central Exchange Room. This year’s featured guest is Danny Klecko—Midwest Book Award-winning poet, baker, and F. Scott Fitzgerald scholar. Klecko will share insights from his book Hitman-Baker-Casketmaker, a moving collection of poems about the emotional toll of closing St. Agnes Baking Company in the days before the Twin Cities hosted Super Bowl LII. The event is free and open to the public.
