Barefoot & Sunshine

Barefoot & Sunshine is a full-time Americana/Roots duo sharing their music across the country. Hailing from opposite sides of Iowa, Dean Mattoon and Esmé Alexis spent years in the same music scene before coming together in New Orleans mid-pandemic to form the group. Their unique blend of styles and harmonies reflects themes of loss, farewells, dreams of what could be, and a few good times along the way.
