Exhibit Opening: “The Landscape of Guitar: Paintings by Bruce Hecksel”

The Winona Arts Center presents The Landscape of Guitar: Paintings by Bruce Hecksel on Sunday, September 21, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 228 East 5th Street. The exhibit runs through October 18.

Hecksel, known for his vibrant, guitar-inspired landscapes, performed thousands of concerts with his duo Patchouli & Terra Guitarra. He passed away this July after a three-year battle with cancer. His partner, Julie Patchouli, will offer remarks and present an animation of The Landscape of Guitar in his honor.
