Transgender musician and advocate Venus DeMars is featured in the memoir Wild Things: A Trans-Glam-Punk-Rock Love Story published by the Minnesota Historical Society Press.

Written by acclaimed author, Lynette Reini-Grandell, Venus’ wife of 40 years, the memoir shares the story of the couple’s relationship through 3 decades of artistic adventures as Venus develops an awareness of their transgender identity.
