Forum: Water Quality in the Driftless Region

Forum:

The Winona County Clean Water Coalition is hosting a free educational forum on water quality in the Driftless region at the St. Charles Community Center.

Speakers will discuss how farming practices contribute to groundwater contamination, the role of feedlots in nitrate pollution, updates to state feedlot regulations, and how the public can get involved. The forum will also cover options for well testing and treatment, as well as federal and state responses to the issue.
