Celebrate your lady friends this Galentine’s Day, at the Winona Public Library from 6:30-8pm. This is a free event and the first 150 attendees will receive free goodies from the library.
Galentine’s Day got its start on the TV show Parks and Recreation with the episode titled “Galentine’s Day,” all about celebrating lady friends and spending a relaxing night together. Since the episode aired, the idea caught on and became a nationwide favorite.
While unofficial, Galentine’s Day is now widely celebrated on February 13, a day dedicated to friendship, fun, and honoring the women in your life.
