His music blends dark themes with heavy rhythms, drawing from the traditional country blues that fuel his creativity. With experience recording at the iconic Blue Front Café in Bentonia, Mississippi, and guidance from Grammy-nominated bluesman Jimmy “Duck” Holmes, Munson has connected deeply with the living history of delta blues. His sound reflects a deep respect for this historic southern style, weaving intricate fingerpicking and hypnotic rhythms.
