Storytime for Adults: Celebrating Books–Banned or Not

Join local readers for an enjoyable evening in your community as we present the third SFA of the season. We extend our warm welcome and gratitude to Meghan, the new library director at The Trempealeau Library, for organizing this event and selecting the topics and readers. Your host for the night will be our very own Ty Webster.

The theme for this gathering is “Celebrating Books: Banned or Not,” which champions the freedom to read. This theme honors both banned and widely accepted books and fosters open discussions about censorship, the significance of storytelling, and literature’s role in society. It encourages participants to contemplate how books can inspire change and enhance understanding among individuals.
