Third Thursdays at MMAM: Film Showing

Beginning in 2026, MMAM will stay open late every third Thursday. Enjoy $5 gallery admission after 5pm, a new featured program each month, and Happier Hour at the Waterbar Cafe + Provisions. It’s a perfect excuse to explore, eat, shop, play, and get inspired—your new favorite night of the month.

This March, get cozy in the galleries and settle in for a film selected by Dr. Danielle B. Schwartz of the WSU Film Studies Program. She’ll introduce the film and share how it connects to current exhibitions and themes.

This month’s feature is Still Life (Dir. Jia Zhangke, 2006), which follows two individuals searching for their spouses in Fengjie, a town along the Yangtze River being dismantled during construction of the Three Gorges Dam.

Feel free to bring a blanket or camping chair for extra comfort. (No food or drinks are allowed in the galleries.) → Film tickets
