Tamer, a Palestinian teenager in Israel, drifts through a typical high school life until he meets Maysaa, a new classmate whose passion for activism sparks something within him. Drawn to her and her cause, Tamer joins a daring mission: to raise the Palestinian flag and challenge the celebrations of Israel’s Independence Day—a day of mourning for Palestinians.
