The WASPS of WWII & Ethel Meyer Finley

Join the Winona County Historical Society for a free program on “The WASPs of WWII & Ethel Meyer Finley” in Wanek Hall at the Winona County History Center. Historian Frederick Beseler will share the story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) in World War II, with a focus on Minnesota members, including Ethel Meyer Finley—a Lake City native and Winona State graduate who served as a WASP pilot and instructor for male Army Air Force cadets.
